After much consideration and months of chaos with another artist and her work, I have decided to stop making music for the forseeable future, and I have permanently decided to no longer offer music distribution for anyone else under my name. I feel like making music was more of a phase for me than something I would want to do long-term, and if any interest in music remains in me, it is much more on the technical side. My music will remain up on all platforms, and as of the day I am writing this, September 9, 2026, I am transferring my catalog over to a white-label enterprise platform to keep them up longer without sinking more money into a greedy music distribution service. I encourage everyone to check out my soundcloud page and enjoy music I have made that is not [yet] on streaming services.
I am not affiliated with the artist Kimi Rae or any of her works and I will not be distributing the project "Butterflies" or any other releases under any circumstances. I am publicly refusing to affiliate with her works.
I would also like to issue a public apology to a close artist I have worked with who requests to remain anonymous. I believe artists deserve their own right to be forgotten and should not be promoted or "shouted out" by anyone who does not have the artist's permission. I have learned countless tips and tricks from this artist and I am very thankful for that, and while I personally believe he is extremely talented, it is upon me to sincerely apologize for interacting with your music to promote you while you were in a transitioning stage.
Obviously, Calico or anything else I have announced is cancelled for the near future unless I decide to return to music. I may make a return if I decide I want to make music again. The old website pages are still up under the "Archive" folder in the website navigation menu.
